Two onlookers. Donna read the agenda Correspondence: none Treasurer's report: none. Leona Watson now acting as treasurer, will have a report as soon as Lisa can transfer documents. Past minutes read. Donna gave President's report. Election issues, discussion about procedure, not people. The issue in April was the first use of our constitution as a tool. However, we still need to clarify some things. Our constitution holds as much weight as Yukon Government ambulance department procedures. We need volunteers to work on our constitution. There are on call compensation equality issues. There has been discussion about some responders from fire not being compensated for medical calls. There is a suggestion that the paperwork is filled properly for both fire and medical. Make sure the monthly report matches the dispatch reports. Motion by Dave: Write a letter, based on details of prior documents from Association of Yukon Fire Chiefs detailing items requested on lack of on call parity issues. Seconded by Ed Shiffkorn. PASSED Motion by Nicky: Survey Marsh Lake residents on the lack of parity issues. Seconded by Irv Harper. PASSED Medical Officer's report: none Fire Smart report: There is $30,000 allocated for work to be done in September. There is a request from Lot 68. Ed Shiffkorn reports that there are areas in Army Beach that are affected by the flood, many dead trees that pose a risk. Motion by Diane: Accept Fire Smart report. Seconded by Ed Shiffkorn. PASSED New Constitution Sub committee formed: Harlan, Dave, Leona Barry, Donna volunteered to work together to address constitutional issues. Motion by Blair: Purchase of jackets for members to be paid from Marsh Lake Emergency Services Society budget ($3,000). Seconded by Mark Ershen. PASSED Motion by Leona: Approve funds for member BBQ ($600). Seconded by Mark Ershen. PASSED meeting ended @ 2130
