Propane Incident

Concerned neighbor called Fire Chief to report smell of propane at Lot xx. Members left vehicles at the turn off to xx and walked to house, and found a definite smell of propane and a leak was found. Superior propane was called at 12:53 and arrived on the scene at 14:00. Members waited at hall for propane truck to arrive. Leak was repaired. Fire Chief contacted owner of house to report incident.

Fill cap (yellow) was found broken, propane venting to atmosphere through unseated valve.

Valve was tapped with wooden stick and seated, propane leak stopped.
