Tuesday, Aug12/03: Marsh Lake Fire Rescue met with residents of South McClintock to check out and hook up to their water tank. We needed a staging area and a ready source of water for initial fire suppression (rural neighbourhood with river and lake access through private access roads), so the local handymen set up the tank for emergency use.

checking the level of the 2,000 gal tank

our Tohatsu pump hooked up and feeding a 4 inch line.

the 4 inch feeds a manifold with a couple of 2 1/2 in and forestry hoses from a wye.

later, we filled our tanker from a private pump system (Leo B.). Worked okay (took longer to back under the spigot than to actually fill our 1,000 gal tank)
