The meeting was called to order at 7:03pm. 10 people attended the meeting.

- D.J. not booked yet. Tiffanie will get in touch with Bill Charron, Omni Productions.

- LeaAnn has been booked; no price quoted yet. Tiff will check price.

- Tents and Events. Jan will contact and get price for the rental of tables, chairs, dishes, cutlery, tablecloths and curtains to hang on the walls.

- Tickets and posters. Sophie will print these.

- Liquor and license to be looked after by Blair.

- Donna will look after the silent auction

Donna is doing a cost spreadsheet, and would like price estimates as soon as possible. Budget for the party is $3000.

- Sept. 20th at the ice rink (unless the paving is happening, in which case it will be moved, probably up to firehall area)

- Donna will do the posters

- The puckboard is off. A big thank you to Ray, Craig and Blair! It will be put back up after paving; volunteers will be needed. Drew and group of youth will help.

- will apply for funding from CDF to help with cost

- Skookum will do the job for $7500 if we don’t get funding from CDF

- Donna and Perry will complete the CDF application

- Blair reported on site survey. He met with the consultants and walked the site to determine feasibility of topography.

- Fee estimate: topographical survey $4200; overall site assessment $5700; geotechnical evaluation $1000 - plus GST. Will likely not need to drill holes.

- Should set up a contract; Lucy will be asked to do that.

- Blair will continue to coordinate with the contractors and Lucy.

- Donna will do up a poster to update the public re the building project

- posters for meeting will advertise that a site assessment has been contracted for the building of a community centre in Marsh Lake
