2002 Year in Review              updated: Dec 15/02

 2002 was a year of growth for the Marsh Lake Community Society. With increased funding from YTG's Sport and Rec Department, and Yukon Lotteries, the following projects were completed:

• Enhancements to the Ice Rink - new gravel base and puckboard
• Development of the Playground in New Constabulary
• A Fall Yard sale Canada Day Picnic
• 8th Annual Ski Loppett
• A recreation survey of residents and lot owners
• A criteria to help make decisions on future project proposals
• A Christmas Dance
• Funding for the Marsh Lake Fire Society Halloween Party and Kids Christmas Party
• Funding Safe Boating Course
• Funding for the Marsh Lake Fire Department
