Thank you very much Shirley, Bucky, Megan Mary, Melissa, Sophie, Paul, Penny and Lucy for putting on such wonderful brunch again. It was delicious like always!!!
A special Thank-You to Finley Sparling (13), who hung in there doing all the dishes by himself and his sister Liz, who helped out wherever she could.
 
The first people skated on the rink last weekend, it was still a little bumpy with these warm temperatures in between, but it should be better this weekend.
Our Ski Loppet Committee has met to get the preparations for our 16th Annual Marsh Lake Ski Loppet started. We are still looking for a CHIEF OF RACE. Please call us if you are interested  or if you like to recommend someone. Our Ski Loppet will be on Saturday, February 13th, 2010.

If you play an instrument, juggle or sing, give us your name and we will put you on the performer’s list. 
  
Marsh Lake Ski Club with Malcolm and Jody: starting when there is enough snow on the trails and goes until the snow is gone (or the kids have switched gears to biking!),
Sundays 1:30 to about 3 p.m. For all kids and youth (all ages and abilities).
Cost $25 per child.
Adult beginner skiers are welcome to drop-in, if you would like some tips or help.
